Jake and the Half Conched Band is a trop-rock group fronted by Jake Thomas and based in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Thomas fell in love with the coast as a teen on first seeing the Gulf of Mexico, eventually landing in Orange Beach, Alabama, and his music celebrates the coastal lifestyle. The band blends trop-rock and country, with songs such as "Life On the Gulf" and "ParrotBay" and the album "Salt in My Veins."
