Jack Fossett is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Southern Maine who takes an Americana approach to rock and blues guitar, citing influences such as Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, and David Gilmour. He performs throughout New England both solo and with a backing band, drawing on a large catalog of original compositions. In 2013 he was named one of the top 10 undiscovered blues guitarists in Guitar Center's Blues Masters competition, and a Maine-themed original of his was featured on a 2019 charity album benefiting Volunteer Maine/AmeriCorps.
