Bob Durand is an Americana and trop-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist whose musical roots are planted in New Orleans, where he grew up as a drummer marching in Mardi Gras parades. After decades as a drummer and vocalist, he became a singer-songwriter and guitarist in the 2000s and relocated to Gulf Shores, Alabama, blending his New Orleans heritage with coastal beach influences. His albums include 'Living in the Real L.A.' (2016) and 'Nola (Songs from New Orleans to Lower Alabama)' (2026), with songs such as 'Modern Day Pirate' and 'Sermons from a Dive Bar.' He is a member of the Trop Rock Music Association.
